This Privacy Policy explains how the Addonez mobile app ("the App") collects, uses, and protects
information when you use it. The App is a business-management tool that connects to your
organization's own Odoo ERP system to provide dashboards, attendance, sales, project, finance, and
related features.
Information We Collect
- Account and login information — your name, email address, and role, used to
authenticate you against your organization's Odoo system.
- Business data from your organization's ERP — sales orders, projects, tasks,
timesheets, finance reports, and related records, retrieved directly from your organization's Odoo
instance to display within the App. This data belongs to your organization, not to Addonez.
- Location data — with your permission, the App accesses your device's GPS location
when you check in or check out for attendance, so your organization can verify attendance was
recorded from an expected location. Location is only accessed at the moment of check-in/check-out,
not tracked continuously in the background.
- Photos — if you choose to update your profile photo, the App accesses your
device's photo library or camera to let you select or take an image.
- Usage and diagnostic information — basic technical information (such as app
version and device type) may be collected to help diagnose issues and improve reliability.
How We Use Information
- To authenticate you and connect you securely to your organization's Odoo system.
- To display your organization's business data (sales, projects, attendance, finance, etc.) within
the App.
- To record attendance check-in/check-out location, where enabled by your organization.
- To let you set or update your profile photo.
- To diagnose technical issues and improve the App's reliability and performance.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Business data displayed in the App is exchanged only
between the App and your organization's own Odoo system — it is not shared with third parties,
except where your organization has configured integrations (such as an AI insights service) to
process that data on their behalf.
Data Storage and Security
Login sessions and attendance records may be stored on Addonez's backend servers to support the
App's features. Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect this data.
However, your organization's business data (sales, finance, project records, etc.) remains stored
primarily within your organization's own Odoo instance, which your organization is responsible for
securing.
Your Choices
- You can decline location permission; attendance check-in/out may then require your organization's
alternative process, or may not record location.
- You can decline photo library/camera permission; you simply won't be able to change your profile
photo from the App.
- You can contact your organization's administrator to request access, correction, or deletion of
your account information.
Children's Privacy
The App is a workplace business tool intended for use by employees and administrators of client
organizations. It is not directed at, and should not be used by, children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an
updated "Last updated" date.
